If my client is in an AIP, is there any situation where they will need to notify the DWP or local authority of an increase in their income or capital?

If your client receives any Guarantee Pension Credit they remain "passported" to full Council Tax Rebate during an AIP and no notification of the change is required.

If your client is receiving Savings Pension Credit only they are required to notify their local authority when their capital reaches £16,000 or more. They are not required to notify any lesser amount of capital, nor any increase in income.
